The City of Canton has a bustling cadre of small businesses perfect for slow strolls of casual shopping, flea-market finds, clothing shops and more.
Each year, the city also boasts specialized events, such as the Canton Food & Wine Show and Arts on the Square.
And twice a year, the mother of all shopping extravaganzas The Canton Flea Market – is hosted in the center of downtown. Billed as of the “Top Twenty events in the Southeast” by tourism experts, the flea market draws more than 1,100 vendors from across the country to offer handcrafted items such as jewelry, pottery, and unique gift items. The bi-annual Canton Flea Market Arts & Crafts Show, a one-day show, is held on the second Thursday of May and October.
